Mike Heiss, the interviewer on the Big H Podcast, invited us to discuss the Foundation and our upcoming events. He asked several questions, and I did my best to respond. One question that stood out was how the board reacted when one of our own members lost their battle with cancer. I shared some personal stories about board members who had passed away. We then shifted the conversation to our current board. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge our past board members who are still with us. However, we quickly moved on to another subject, and I didn’t mention them. George Kauffman and John Kwiatkowski were board members for many years and significantly advanced the foundation’s achievements. Despite many questions coming my way, I wanted to acknowledge how important they were to the foundation’s success, as well as anyone else I didn’t mention.
