Edelman-Gardner Cancer Research Foundation

            Board of Directors

As most of you know, 2019 was not off to a good start. Our President and Founder, George Edelman passed away.

We are in the process of going through some changes on the board to keep us moving forward.  We have renewed our commitment to Wilmot by pledging our fourth $250,000 pledge to Wilmot Cancer Institute. This will be paid $50,000/year for 5 years. To date we have given the Wilmot Cancer Institute more than $1,000,000 for Cancer Research. In May of this year they recognized our/your efforts by awarding the Foundation with the “Inspiration Award”.

We are active and are looking for ways to donate even more. This group will continue to carry out George's wishes, which has now become the wishes of us all.

We will have Bio’s of each Board Member coming soon.

We are excited to introduce the new members in bold.

                                          Karen Hermance – President

                                          Sue Corey – Secretary

                                          John Kwaitkowski – Treasurer

                                          Cheryl Edelman

The Board of Directors would like to give a huge thanks for their recent Donation from the Beer Tent Tip Jar . Your willingness to offer this during a time when you are raising your own funds is what makes the term "Home Town" such a special meaning. You truly our our own Home Town Heroes. we accept this donation in the name  of  your  "brothers and sisters" that helped us raise money to fight this terrible disease. We also pledge to keep fighting because some have beat the odds. God Bless the Hilton Fire Department and all of those that risk their own life to save ours.
